[SICOPOLIS:13] Status of the subversion server

Dear colleagues,

as for the availability of the subversion repository of SICOPOLIS, I'd
like to inform you that I'm currently working with the AWI (Alfred
Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research) in Bremerhaven,
Germany, to host it on their GForge system "AWIForge"
<http://aforge.awi.de/>. While waiting for the official OK from AWI's
computing centre, we are currently running some tests to see whether the
transfer can be done smoothly.

This takes a bit more time than just setting up a new subversion server
here in Sapporo. However, I think it is worth the effort because, if it
works out, we'll have the repository embedded in a nice, web-based
collaboration platform. I'll keep you informed about the progress.
